Our 7-Step Maintenance Routine

Every scheduled maintenance visit follows this structured checklist — covering circulation, cleaning and chemistry.

1

Skim & Empty Baskets

Surface debris is cleared and both the skimmer basket and pump strainer basket are emptied to maintain full flow to the filtration system.

2

Brush Walls, Steps & Waterline

Every surface is brushed — walls, steps, corners and the waterline. This prevents biofilm, algae and scale from establishing on surfaces where filters can't reach.

3

Vacuum the Floor

Settled dust and debris on the pool floor are vacuumed out — the primary cause of cloudy water when left unaddressed in Dubai's sandy environment.

4

Test Water Chemistry

We test free chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, stabilizer and calcium hardness using calibrated equipment. No guesswork — just accurate readings every time.

5

Dose Chemicals

Based on the test results and your pool's volume, we add the correct amounts of chlorine, pH adjusters and other balancing agents. Safe for swimmers, gentle on equipment.

6

Inspect Equipment

Pump operation, filter pressure, heater/chiller, chlorinator, timers and all valves are checked. We catch problems early — before a small fault becomes a costly breakdown.

7

Submit Written Report

You receive a full written report after every visit: water readings, chemicals dosed, tasks completed, faults found, and any recommendations. Complete transparency.

The 3 C's Framework

Good pool maintenance comes down to three fundamentals. Every visit, we address all three.

C1

Circulation

Pump run times, basket cleanliness and filter condition determine how well water moves through the system. Poor circulation makes every other effort less effective.

C2

Cleaning

Skimming, brushing and vacuuming remove the debris and surface film that harbor bacteria and feed algae. Physical cleaning is what filters alone can never do.

C3

Chemistry

Sanitizer, pH and alkalinity kept within range prevent illness, protect surfaces and extend equipment life. Even a small drift causes visible problems within days in Dubai's heat.

Annual Maintenance Contracts

An AMC takes the guesswork out of pool ownership. Everything is defined upfront — visit schedule, tasks, reporting and emergency response.

What a Good AMC Includes

  • Defined visit frequency per month
  • Water testing every visit
  • Full routine cleaning tasks listed
  • Filter cleaning frequency specified
  • Equipment inspection each visit
  • Written report after every visit
  • Clear repair approval process
  • Emergency response terms

Who Benefits Most

  • Busy villa owners who want a hands-off solution with complete accountability.
  • Landlords and property managers who need consistent, documented maintenance for multiple properties.
  • Commercial properties — hotels, gyms, schools — where pool compliance and guest safety is non-negotiable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about pool maintenance in Dubai.

Regular maintenance keeps water safe to swim in, prevents algae growth, and protects your equipment from premature failure. Without it, Dubai's heat and dust rapidly degrade water quality — leading to cloudy water, unpleasant odours, and costly repairs that proper care would have avoided entirely.
Cleaning focuses on the physical side — skimming, vacuuming, brushing and removing debris. Maintenance goes further: chemical testing and balancing, equipment inspection (pumps, filters, heaters), early fault detection and written reporting. The two services are complementary — most of our plans include both in every visit.
Weekly is the standard for most Dubai residential pools. During the summer months (May–October) or for heavily used pools, twice-weekly service is strongly recommended — the extreme heat accelerates chemical consumption and dust levels rise significantly during Shamal season.
Extreme heat accelerates chlorine burn-off, meaning chemical levels drop faster than in cooler climates. Frequent dust storms deposit fine particles that cloud water and clog filters quickly. High UV degrades stabilizer over time, and warm water creates ideal conditions for algae. All of this demands more frequent testing and dosing than you'd need anywhere else.
Accurate water testing requires calibrated equipment and trained eyes. Small errors in chemical dosing quickly lead to skin and eye irritation, equipment corrosion, or algae blooms. A professional also spots early signs of equipment failure — a pump seal starting to go, filter pressure creeping up — before they become expensive problems. The time you save is a bonus.
Every visit we test free chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, stabilizer (cyanuric acid) and calcium hardness. These five readings together determine water safety, clarity, surface protection and equipment longevity. All results are recorded in the written report you receive after each visit.
Prioritise experience and local knowledge — a company that understands Dubai's climate will serve you far better than a generic cleaner. Check that they provide written visit reports (not just a verbal "all good"). Confirm technicians are trained and insured, that pricing is transparent with no hidden call-out fees, and that they respond quickly when something goes wrong.
Contact us immediately if you notice: sudden unexplained water loss, water that stays cloudy even after chemical treatment, a pump that won't prime or makes grinding or rattling sounds, a circuit breaker that keeps tripping, visible cracks or damp patches around the pool shell, or algae returning rapidly between visits.
Yes — a well-structured AMC removes all ambiguity. Visit frequency, tasks, reporting and emergency response are all defined upfront, so there are no surprises. For busy households, landlords and commercial properties, it's almost always more cost-effective than ad-hoc call-outs, and you get a dedicated technician who knows your pool's history.
Yes — we cover all Dubai communities including JVC, JVT, Al Furjan, Discovery Gardens, Dubai Sports City, Motor City, DAMAC Hills, Jumeirah Park and more. We also service pools in Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain. Contact us to confirm coverage for your area.
